CHESTNUTS PRIMARY SCHOOL

Brilliant science: Out of class learning!!!

We had an amazing opportunity to go on an interesting trip to the Natural History Museum. Linking directly to our science topic, we were transformed into scientist as we analised different specimens and tried to make sense of what they could be. We measured, observed (underneath microscopes) and discussed each specimen before coming up with our conclusions. To round up this amazing experience, we classified a range of specimens using Carl Linnaeus system of classification until we narrowed the range of specimens down to just one. Homo Sapiens (Humans!)
