WEARING IT WILD

The past half-term in Attenborough class we have been planning, organizing and creating the Wildest, most ROARSOME week of all time at Chestnuts Primary....WEAR IT WILD WEEK!
In class, we have learnt all about David Attenborough and how fascinated he is by animals. We didn't know just how much he gave back to the animals through organisations just like WWF. As a class we decided we wanted to be just like him and HELP SAVE THE ANIMALS!
To do this, we have researched endangered species, written biographies about Sir David Attenborough's life, visited the zoo and turned our class into a jungle. In groups with all the Year 3 students, we planned an advert and an assembly for this specific week. Our advert was as HUGE success and the entire school was raving about how awesome it was.
We've also become Poets and performed at our 'Open Mic Friday Attenborough Cafe'. Our limericks were creative and clever, causing the whole class to giggle with delight.
We look forward to all the other fun activities to come in the next half-term.
