Fingerprint Work

We all have had a very mysterious & peculiar time here in year 5. This has been coming and rooting from our topic on Crime and Punishment. In our afternoon daily lessons we have learned all about this from the Romans, with Rebelling against the emperor as a crime and Death by crucifixion as a punishment up until the modern day with Electronic Tagging and fingerprinting. In class we have been making and studying fingerprint technology with black paint for our topic work. There are 3 types of fingerprint patterns: loop, arch and whorl.

As you can see in these photos of real fingerprints from the class, they are working hard in this arty and fun session of Fingerprint Work.
