Malala class 2019 - 2020
At Chestnuts we have started using the Spelling Shed as a tool for practising our spellings. All children have a login, which is stuck at the front of their homework books. Every Tuesday new spellings will be set, which will be tested the following Tuesday. If children do not have access to the internet, physical copies of the spelling sheets/acitivties will be available in class.
THIS HALF TERM WE ARE READING- WOLF WILDER, BY KATHERINE RUNDELL. If you have this book at home, or are able to get a copy, please bring it to school with you.
I hope everyone has had a relaxing and refreshing half term, and is ready to get stuck back into school. This Spring half term the children will be starting their second Cornerstones project- Frozen Kingdom. This is a georgraphy based topic, with a main focus on extreme environments and conservation. Please download the subject knowledge organiser for more information on this topic.
